Welcome to My 2015 Topps Journey. The purpose of this blog is to document my progress in completing the 2015 Topps baseball set. Along the way I will include some baseball stats and information about the players featured on the cards.
Series 1 was released on February 4, 2015 and I bought my first Jumbo Value Pack a few days later. My original goal was to buy a jumbo pack a week while trying to complete the set. I may have cheated a bit some weeks and bought more? The 2015 Topps design is much different then the previous few years. Gone are the plain white borders. The borders this year have a stone pattern to them, starting out very light at the top of the card and fading into the team colors of the featured player on the bottom. Topps Series 1 is also larger than previous years, with 350 cards in the initial release. Once Series 2 is released it will bring the 2015 set to 700 cards.
